It's finally here ! The pack countains 3 visual styles, made by Nittiyh and Satukoro. I enjoyed working with Satukoro, be sure to check his gallery ! Don't forget to read the Read me file. If you find any bugs please send me a note.
Just checked your other theme "Kiilki_VS_by_Nittiyh" and it seems the color based problems are solved there.
However on Kiilki there is no commands to switch to programs or shutdown options I know this was done on purpose but it makes it very hard to use.
Also there is no location bar on Kiilki slim (which is argually better) and the text for advancing through the drop down is missing (including on Terminal).
Would use please consider do a mixup combining both themes as they seem have parts that the other needs. i.e. color from Terminal and the start menu from Kiilki, with the location bar in windows explorer fixed.
I realize I have no say as this is your hard work that you have generously given to the community but your work is beautiful and needs to be used further.
I do not see any .theme extentions to choose from within the rar file? Am I missing something or do I need to convert them to themes? I have replaced everything else without issue, took ownership of browseui.dll, renamed it, replaced with the .black and renamed it to browseui.dll. I also ran the Vistaglass and all that went well. The only problem is finding the .theme files in /windows/resources/themes after extraction. Any idea? Thanks
hi, i think this looks awesome! i just downloaded it.. and i've got a major noob issue. I can't see any .theme files in any of the extracted folders. When I copy one of the VS folders to windows/resources/themes, it doesn't work for me, presumably cos i dont have the .theme file?
Okay, I took ownership of the original "Browseui.dll", and renamed it "BrowseuiBAK.dll" and placed the one from your download files (64x). Re-Booted, and I get an error message saying "Browseui.dll was not found..." blah blah blah.
I have knowledge of MS-DOS and deleted your Browseui and used my BAK one to get my system back up and running.
Why wouldn't your browseui work as its supposed to? Any ideas?
The one supplied in the download is named browseui.dll.BLACK so you'll have to erase the ".BLACK" part to make it work. Happened to me too so I had to run cmd with the task manager to rename it then I simply had to reboot.
